How Will We Revise Membership? What Will be our Membership Levels?

How will we revise membership (paid/ unpaid ) vs (voting/ vs non voting)?

I think we should a structure similar to the PSF. So for example:

1. Supporting member (monthly donation)
2. Contributing member (x amount of volunteering hours per month)

Both should have the option to request voting rights

What is the need for revising membership? What problem(s) are we trying to address with a different membership structure?

@econchick That's a great question! In my opinion revising the membership would address the problem that we're not generating revenue on a monthly basis and there will be people who don't have the time to spare but have the means to contribute financially. Also, we're not currently tracking volunteer hours/weeks/months/projects etc. So maybe by starting a 'Contributing member' tier it could help us to adopt new processes that encourage volunteering and identify when engagement is low. But of course, I will need to produce evidence to support my claims
