Socket proxy fails

I'm using the following docker compose file to launch Portainer using a socket-proxy:

services:
  portainer:
    image: portainer/portainer-ee:latest
    container_name: portainer
    pull_policy: always
    command: -H tcp://socket-proxy:2375
    networks:
      - socket_proxy
    security_opt:
      - no-new-privileges:true
    restart: always
    ports:
      - 9000:9000
    volumes:
      # - /var/run/docker.sock:/var/run/docker.sock #not required with socket_proxy
      - portainer_data:/data

networks:
  socket_proxy:
    external: true

volumes:
  portainer_data:
    name: portainer_data
    external: true

Yet this fails

When I log in, I see this:

instead of socket-proxy.

What am I missing?
