Feature Request:

There's literally only ONE thing that's keeping me from permanently using Namida's beautiful interface... and it is the song thumbnail / album art being used as the background for the player.

Solution:

I'd like for the background of the audio player to use the song thumbnail / album art like the images shown below.

  • Option to enable art as player background
    • Option to blur the background (not mutually exclusive)
      • Also option to change blur intensity
    • Option to also darken edges with a vignette (not mutually exclusive)
    • If none of above two options are enabled, then just the album art
    • Option to change opacity
    • New suggestion: Animated background, same as how the thumbnail art currently is animated

Similar apps:

The current player I use is AIMP with a specific skin downloaded from the website called AMOLED wave 2.0 for 4.0, with the Black Background EN theme variant.
This is the link to the skin, but mind you it is a russian link, might be blocked:

nws! i appreciate the response and yeah i can see the complexity involved, and as always, it would come down to the user's personal preference in the end but it would be nice to have these extra touches
