We have noticed a regression in the functionality of the multi-cursor feature following the latest update of Visual Studio Code. In previous versions, this feature worked flawlessly. However, the current behavior presents the following issue:
When invoking multi-cursors (using Ctrl + Alt combined with the Up/Down arrow keys to position new cursors) and attempting to select text (using Ctrl or Ctrl + Shift for full-word selection), the multi-cursor functionality is disrupted. Instead of maintaining all cursors, the focus shifts to a single cursor at the initial position, effectively canceling the multi-cursor setup.
We appreciate the consistent dedication and effort the team puts into improving Visual Studio Code. We kindly request your attention to this matter and hope that a resolution can be implemented in an upcoming release.
Thank you for your support and hard work.
Sincerely,
