Does this work with generic thermostats?

My rooms are controlled through electric floor-heater actuators combined with simple switches, that are configured as heaters in generic thermostats. The indoor temperatures come from external temp sensors.

So basically my generic thermostats work very similar to better_thermostats. They lack the door sensor and valve maintenance features though.

Now i was wondering if i can use only these to features from better_thermostats with my system? Can i add generic thermostats as thermostats here?
The alternative would be adding automations for everything, but that'd be a bit tedious.
